Provider Verification Process
When we review providers for our network, we look at several factors. However, it is important to understand that our verification is a review process, not a guarantee.
Licensing Review
We check that providers have appropriate local licensing and permits to operate senior care services.
Facility Assessment
Where possible, our team visits facilities to assess physical conditions, safety features, and general environment.
Staff Qualifications
We review basic staff qualifications and training certifications provided by the care facility.
Family Feedback
We collect and review feedback from families who have used the provider's services.
Ongoing Review
Providers in our network are subject to periodic re-evaluation through monthly monitoring visits.
Important: Our review process is not exhaustive and does not replace due diligence by families. Conditions, staff, and ownership of care facilities can change. Families must independently verify all aspects of any provider before making care decisions.
Referral Transparency
Transparency is central to our business model. Here is how referrals work:
- Some care providers in our network may pay referral fees or commissions to Seniors.mx.
- These financial relationships are always disclosed to families before any referral is made.
- Referral compensation does not influence the order or nature of our recommendations.
- Our primary obligation is to the family, not to the referring provider.
- Families are never charged for our referral or consultation services.
Family Responsibilities
While we do our best to provide helpful guidance, families have important responsibilities in the care selection process:
Visit facilities in person before making placement decisions.
Independently verify provider licensing, credentials, and insurance.
Consult with licensed healthcare professionals for medical decisions.
Research safety records and any regulatory actions against providers.
Maintain ongoing communication with care providers after placement.
Report any concerns about provider quality to Seniors.mx and relevant authorities.
